Puns and emphasizing the nonsense help Rafi to adapt to the changes in the surroundings, without the need to fight them. Using word-plays on canvas, netting, plywood and a variety of techniques, enable him to quickly move from a graphic language to sculpture and painting and back again. The Fez (Tarboosh) has an air of empires around it – out of it Rafi derived a combined array of invented objects. From a ceramic sculpture “The last Fez” to an immense Tarboosh and over. Münz exercises a strong say with a smile at the same time, featuring power and reign – elementary elements in our world. There is a concealed tension between adopting classical techniques and others, of a deskilled character. His artistic work leans on decades of painting and sculpting, while expressing a clear and sharp response to the political life, to spoils of our society. Rafi’s art stands somewhat above time, depicting the local, up-to-date and despairing, respecting traditional painting and sculpting with a smile.

באמצעות 'רוח שטות' השורה על התערוכה מדבר רפי על האפשרות להסתגל לשינויי הסביבה ללא צורך להיאבק בהם.  שימוש במשחקי מילים על בד, רשת, דיקט ובשלל טכניקות מאפשר לו לעבור במהירות משפה גרפית, אל פיסול וציור וחוזר חלילה. התרבוש – טעון סממני 'אימפריה';  ממנו גזר מערך משולב של אובייקטים מומצאים. מפסל 'התרבושאי האחרון' אל תרבוש ענק וחוזר חלילה. אמירה חזקה ומחוייכת בו זמנית, על שלטון, כוח, מנהגו של עולם. מתקיים מתח סמוי בין טכניקה לבין ציור מרושל כביכול, המשתמש במצעים גבוהים ונמוכים בדימויים ובמילים. עבודתו האמנותית נשענת על עשרות שנות ציור ופיסול והוא מנכיח תגובה אישית ברורה לחיים הפוליטיים, לקלקולים. בעבודתו יש מן האל-זמניות, המקומי (וגם העכשווי והמייאש), באופן מעורר חיוך ועם זאת מכבד את מסורות הפיסול והציור המקומיות והעולמיות.
